The State of In-Car UX

After listening to The Prompt #44: The Problem and the Solution where Stephen, Federico and Myke talk about CarPlay I discovered that I had this great summary of in-car UX with a lot of examples gathered from all over the Internet in my reading list.

After reading the article and reflecting on my 15 years experience with car stereo systems and navigation systems I can only agree: manufacturers of such systems need to invest more time and effort to make these more simple and more beautiful.

I really liked the examples with premium cars and their ugly UX.
